Our Ecommerce & Trading Team play a critical and exciting role in setting and managing the future commercial strategy for Premier In and restaurant brands and play a pivotal role in evolving these well-known and much-loved brands and accountable for the development of the trading strategy and delivery of the range, price and promotional plan for the platforms, c. £204m sales.
As the Promotions Analyst you will report into the Senior Trading Manager and play an integral part in helping to provide administration and planning support and meaningful reporting on our promotional and print strategy and commercial insight to our restaurant trading teams.
Function: Commercial/Trading
Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable (hybrid way of working with coming into the office three times a week).
Employment Type: Secondment (4 months until February 2025)

What you will be doing:
- Accountable for providing an authoritative view of the organisation’s place in the market and competitor activity. Providing a clear understanding of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats – weekly, monthly
- Responsible for all promotional T&C’s and delivery of via Micros iCare and Ops Comms for trading channel activities and partnerships
- Working closely with the Senior Commercial Trading Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure offer approval process is adhered to ensure all offers are approved via the weekly restaurant trading meeting
- Liaison with suppliers for routine partnership queries and support including updating campaign creative and content for affiliate platforms relevant to season
- Attend weekly platform calls for updates on upcoming trading activity where required. Coordinate team input in to Stage & Gate campaign PCR’s
- AGP runbook support for print and promotional requirements for MFS
- Print - Raising and receipting all print Pos and supporting the Print Manager Supporting with ad hoc replenishment requests
- Print - Support with Brand requests and ITG liaison providing data for month end print/warehouse/stockholding and LSM volumes

- Demonstrates a commercial, numerate and results orientation attitude with utmost focus on guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of gravitas, influencing and strong team-building skills
- Creative and disruptive thinker with the ability to deliver on a practical and commercial basis
- Excellent influencer and communicator, focused on building relationships across the business
- Ability to take a strategic approach to the organisation’s internal and external environment, and develop detailed understanding of the organisation and its opportunities for growth
- Able to use excel
- Highly organized individual who is able to work in a pressurized environment and adaptable to an ever changing environment
