Location: St Austell, Cornwall
Salary: £38,000 – £41,000 + up to 25% Bonus + Benefits
From May 1st the salary will be a range of £39,000 to £42,250.
We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at Carclaze Whitbread Inns in St Austell, one of our Flagship sites. Reporting into the General Manager, it’s your opportunity to take full ownership of a busy kitchen, inspire and develop your team, and consistently deliver great‑quality food for families, locals, and travellers alike.
If you’re an experienced Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or Catering Manager who thrives in a high‑volume environment, this is your chance to make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, motivating, and developing your kitchen team
- Managing stock control, food margins, and kitchen standards
- Owning food safety, audits, and compliance
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
- Driving performance through coaching and regular 1:1s
- Delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes to spec
- Working closely with a supportive General Manager who understands the operation inside out
