If so, this could be the next big step in your career.
About the Role
Premier Inn’s Direct Sales team delivers over £250m in annual revenue, and we’re looking for an exceptional Sales Manager for our Accounts to help us unlock the next chapter of growth.
In this role, you’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, while also acting as a player‑manager with a portfolio of your own key corporate accounts. You’ll shape how we work with some of the UK’s largest businesses, implementing frameworks, improving ways of working, and ensuring we consistently outperform the market.
This is a leadership role for someone structured, commercially sharp, and highly engaging, an individual who brings energy, accountability, and a passion for motivating people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & inspire a team of up to 6 Account Managers to create a high‑performance, proactive sales culture.
- Own revenue growth across managed corporate accounts, both through your team and your own portfolio.
- Implement structured frameworks and ways of working that drive consistency, productivity, and commercial success.
- Use data to make decisions, forecast accurately, monitor trends, and spot risks or opportunities early.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements with large corporate customers to strengthen long‑term partnerships.
- Coach and mentor your team through structured development, KPIs, and tailored performance support.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, and senior leaders.
- Drive engagement and motivation, fostering an accountable, customer‑centric culture.
- Plan and host customer events, reviews, and executive‑level meetings.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings both leadership excellence and commercial rigour.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ideally a proven track record in B2B corporate sales, ideally within a consultative, high‑value environment.
- Experience managing and coaching teams, motivating people to perform at their best.
- Strong account management background with experience handling high‑value, strategic accounts.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to use data, CRM insights, and KPIs to drive decision‑making.
- Skilled in commercial negotiation, pipeline management, and sales execution.
- Structured, organised, and able to bring clarity and drive to both team processes and customer relationships.
- Comfortable with project management, setting goals, and ensuring execution and delivery.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a team driving one of the most strategically important revenue streams for Premier Inn.
- Work in a role where your impact is visible, measurable, and celebrated.
- Lead a team where your influence shapes performance, culture, and long‑term success.
- Have the autonomy to refine processes, elevate standards, and introduce new commercial strategies.
